Dr. E's Story

Dr. Emmett Shaffer (AKA “Dr. E”) Dr. E has served the mental health communities for more than 15 years as a Licensed Professional Counselor. Founded by Dr. E in 2012, The Mental Health Concierge, LLC employs Cognitive Based and Solution Focused Theory, as the foundation for mental health counseling for Adults, Couples, and Marriage. Prior to opening his private practice, Dr. E worked in the Fourth largest school district in Georgia as a school counselor, assistant principal, principal, executive director for school counseling, social worker and graduation coaches, and area superintendent.

Dr. Emmett Shaffer earned a BBA degree in Business Administration, with a major in Management and Finance from National University in San Diego, California, a Master of Science degree in Counseling from San Diego State University, and a Doctor of Education degree in Leadership & School Improvement from the University of West Georgia. Dr. E is also a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Certified Professional Counselor Supervision, and a Private Pilot. Dr. E can also be heard on 104.1 radio, the Frank Ski morning show with Nina Brown where he provides listeners with expert advice for daily challenges.
